What is Sonic Branding?

Sonic Branding is the intentional and consistent auditory identity around a brand. Each and every location your brand uses sound to interact with customers is an opportunity to build and strengthen your brand and it's relationships to customers on a direct emotional level.

The Process:

Step 1: Brand Audit & Research

First, we look at all the ways your brand uses sound already and try to identify a common throughline. We look at how your brand historically has sounded, as well as what your competitor's have done, and do deep research into other elements of your brand to gather as much information as possible

Step 2: Collaborate

Next, we collaborate and figure out your brand's sonic identity together. This can take the place of sharing sounds, references, creating mood boards, quick demos ("sound palettes") and more. The goal is for both of us to understand the creative direction we want to take your brand and start experimenting with it.

Step 3: Deploy

Finally, we start creating and revising any sonic branding assets agreed upon in the previous step. We'll create any possible sonic assets we feel is appropriate, as well an official sonic branding guidelines document so your brand can stay consistent and on top of it's sonic branding efforts in the future in order to get the most of this partnership.
